About Carla Collado, LMT

Education

Carla is a holistic bodyworker and Mobile Massage Therapist serving the South Florida tri-county areas of West Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade County. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2018, a proud Educating Hands Alumni. Carla is also a performance artist with an appreciation and wide knowledge for wellness, self care and bodywork.

Career

Carla's venture into the healing arts began with a curiosity for the human body and mind-body connection, as well as a passion for creative expression and helping others. Carla has experience in the massage industry from  chiropractic and spa settings to corporate massages to working independently as a mobile massage therapist. Most of her clients are health oriented and immersed in the worlds of dance and fitness.

Certifications & Specialties

Carla’s work is wonderful blend of relaxation aand therapeutic massage. Traditional Thai Massage, aka, “the lazy man’s yoga” is her specialty.

Her certifications also include lymphatic drainage, pre-natal massage, cupping, deep tissue, Swedish massage, wooden body sculpting, and facial reflexology.

Carla is an experienced Deep Tissue/Therapeutic Bodywork Practitioner. This includes pain management, tension relief, muscles spams, injuries, chronic conditions etc. 

Her approach to deep tissue work involves the utilization of myofascial and trigger point techniques.

Carla also loves incorporating elements of breath work, dynamic stretching, and energy flow into her  work. She is best known for her ability to be fully present and intuitive.
